About Peter

Hi there!

My name is Peter.

I'm in my early 50's.  Like many my age I am a contradiction.  On the one hand I lament the modern times and pine for an era when things were a lot different to now.  On the other I love gadgets and technology and stuffing around with both. Work that one out!

I have a diverse employment background.  Joined Navy straight from school in 1975. Moved on after 12 years (big mistake), worked for Defence in signals intelligence as a civilian for 10 years. Tried my hand in the private sector as a salesman for companies various (real estate, exhibitions, radio). Did four years with Australian Federal Police as a protective service officer. Left that to work with my lovely partner "Den Mother" in a niche business in the adult entertainment industry.

I live with Den Mother and our 4 cats by the seaside at Ulladulla on the south coast of New South Wales, Australia. I have two adult children from a previous marriage. I am a grandfather to 1.75 grandchildren, soon to be 2.

This blog is just a way of keeping my mind agile, writing about stuff that may interest me.  There's a strong chance most other people couldn't give a tuppenny stuff!
